THE UNCLOBBER

INITIATIVE

Making churches safer
for LGBTQ people.

The UnClobber Initiative teaches and advocates for better beliefs about the Bible, sexuality and gender.

Because...

BETTER BELIEFS

BETTER BELIEFS

leads to

BETTER BELIEFS

leads to

BETTER CHURCHES

and that’s better for everyone.

“I can 1000% say that you are saving lives with your ministry. I have never felt so close to God.”

-Spencer, after experiencing UnClobber

Hi, I’m Colby.

Author of the bestselling book, UnClobber, and founder of The UnClobber Initiative (registered 501c3 nonprofit).

I’ve been teaching on the clobber passages and LGBTQ inclusion since 2012. But seeing as how less than 10% of churches in America are fully affirming, I knew I needed to expand those efforts.

That’s why in 2024 I started The UnClobber Initiative, so I could really focus on equipping both individuals and churches with better beliefs around LGBTQ inclusion, faith, and the Bible. (Learn about the Initiative, why I started it, what it does, and more).

This ministry works because donors and churches across the globe share the vision for a more inclusive, affirming, and loving world.

If you’d like to partner with me in this work you can make a donation here and/or contact me to book me for a workshop, a conference, an Author Event, to Guest Preach, or whatever else we cook up together.

Jesus taught that we could know the goodness of something based on its fruit.

Turns out, the fruits of anti-LGBTQ beliefs are rotten to the core.

Whereas the fruits of inclusion are joy, peace, love, kindness, faithfulness and grace.
